Restrict Map view was requested recently by one of the WordPress users.
This feature is locking the map within a position, without zooming out, it will take the zoom setting and lock the map in that state.
Although you can zoom in and move the map around only within the position initially set.
Pros
- It’s best for setting focus on a specific area where you are having the maps displayed and not let the end user browse the map.
- When scrolling down or up on mobile the map stays fixed (initial request)
Cons
- The map view is limited, using a high zoom in, it will confuse the end user where your POI is located
